Being able to influence others effectively is a key skill for both managers and employees at all levels within an organisation.
The key is to influence others in a way in which they like to be influenced. This requires an understanding of different influencing styles, interpreting others’ preferred influencing styles and adapting one’s own preferred style to influence others effectively.
Influencing successfully also requires insights into the contributors to effective communications between people including the use of words, voice and non-verbals.
This course provides managers and employees with the knowledge, insights and skills to be able to influence others upwards, across and downwards to achieve a desired end result. The skills are of particular use in the areas of leading and managing change and resolving conflicts.
This is a highly interactive course incorporating the use of diagnostics and group and individual exercises/role-plays.
