Summary

Performance Management Session 3

Solving Performance Problems

Session Overview

Tackling under-performance with an employee is not always easy for a manager, particularly if the performance problem is related to the individual’s attitude, behaviours or skills. It can sometimes be difficult to accurately analyse the cause of a problem and then to resolve it with the employee feeling motivated in the process.

This session provides managers with a process together with the insights and to effectively counsel people to resolve performance problems.

The proven methodologies used enable managers to overcome employee problems relating to poor performance, attitude change, lack of self-sufficiency, personal problems, personal development and lack of rewards/recognition.

This is a highly interactive session incorporating the use of role-plays.

The session contents include a comprehensive trainer’s guide, a full set of delegate handouts and accompanying PowerPoint slides.

Optional, additional material.

Why not also use in this session our selection of Counselling Role-Plays. These enable delegates to experience the full range of counselling issues and to grow their skills and confidence in handling each type of counselling need.

Find these Counselling Role-Plays in the Other Training Resources Section of the Rhema Resource Centre.

Session length: 90 minutes without Optional Material; 180 minutes with use of Optional Material
